Because of our network security on campus, it is best to update your owl camera at home. To update your camera, make sure your camera is powered on. 

You will need to download the owl phone application for either apple or android. The following instructions were done on an iPhone.

Once you download the application, you will need to enable your Bluetooth on your phone. That is how the owl will connect to your phone.

When you open the app, you will see your owl. So go ahead and click on the owl.

You will then want to connect to your home wifi network.

Then you want to click on the orange line telling you an update is available.

Then you want to click the update now button.

Once the update is complete, the owl will restart and hoot three times.
